Overview

Edge upload uses Alloy Edge, an agent that runs beside your existing recorder. It watches a folder of completed MCAP recordings and uploads them to Mesh Storage over outbound HTTPS. No inbound port is needed. You can link it with an organization provisioning key and approve the device when it connects, or link it with an already-approved device API key.

1. Set up Alloy Edge on the device that has access to the recordings folder.
2. Configure Alloy Edge when you need to inspect or change its settings.
