Amazon S3
Pick up each new run from your S3 bucket. Alloy copies each new run folder and turns it into a mission. Your bucket stays the original.
Each new run in your S3 bucket becomes a mission the agent can search, compare and report on. This happens about 20 to 30 minutes after the upload finishes.
Setup: Alloy connects your bucket with you during onboarding.
What to use it for
- Ask about a run without copying logs from S3 to a laptop.
- Compare a new run with earlier runs.
- Get a report on each new run with recurring reports.
- Retire the scripts that move runs out of S3 today.
Example
Fictional example.
Ask: "Compare docking accuracy in today's dock-07 run with the last five dock runs."
Agent: Today's final offset is 4.1 cm, against 0.8 to 1.3 cm before. Today's run used a new
dock_tag_sizeparameter. [Replay of each final approach]
How to use it
- Alloy engineers set up the S3 connection with you during onboarding. You create a read-only IAM role, and Alloy configures the connection.
- Keep uploading runs to S3. Alloy picks up each new run folder and makes it a mission.
- Ask the agent in the Alloy app, Slack or a Jira ticket.
- AWS bills you for the LIST requests. Keep only recent runs under the watched prefix to keep the cost down.
